Hello :)

Hi, thanks for stopping by to take a look at my blog, there's plenty to see. I decided to set up this blog to showcase all my handmade products and other bits and pieces, such as my cakes. I'm still getting used to it so some things are a bit all over the place! Take a look at the different sections I have set up, you can find them on the right under the heading 'Pages.' I also have a link to my Etsy shop so take a look through there to see if there is anything that takes your fancy. If you see anything on my blog that you would like to purchase that isn't in my shop then just leave a comment or message me and I will get back to you. Have fun browsing and feel free to leave comments under the pictures :)

2011 Calendar

The New Year is almost upon us and since I like to put my own unique touch on everything,  I decided make my own calendar again this year. It's a pretty simple calendar with just one background, each month is displayed on a page of its own which can be torn off and thrown away once the month has passed. I've decided to keep it black and white as it goes with my room..and also because I just like to keep things simple :) Excuse the poor quality of this photo, the lighting in my room is very bad! There are some better shots below...

Following on from my obsession with doodling I have just hand drawn my patterns straight onto the card. I usually just make it up as I go along.

Mini Notebooks

These little notebooks are my latest creation made from spare bits and pieces that I had left over. I used plain China White Canford paper for the pages inside, and for the covers I used 'Amy Butlers' patterned paper. I bound the pages together by using the Japanese stab stitch method and then just wrapped around some organza ribbon for extra effect. If you are interested in buying any of my products please leave a comment or send me a message :)

Hand Illustrated Christmas Cards

For Christmas this year I decided to create my own handmade cards. The cards have been created using brown paper which I have drawn my illustrations on and then mounted on to the card. These cards are completely unique and you won't find them anywhere else. If you wish to purchase some of my cards please visit my Etsy shop at: www.etsy.com/shop/MiniMinaDesigns
Thank you :)
